Well, here she is. My 1987 Porsche 924S. The car is loaded with power windows, mirrors, air conditioning, CD player, sunroof and the full leather interior. The odometer reads just 77,000 km and no, the odometer has never been replaced. The recent Guards Red paint shines and the car drives like it just came out of the showroom.
The 924S is generally ignored within Porsche circles but with the performance of a 944S (it'll smoke a regular 944) and an entry level pricetag, what's not to love? Granted, the history of the model is tainted with Audi engines and VW mechanicals but by the S models of 1987-88, the car was given a new lease on life and it's all Porsche.
