If you are wondering about the photo in the background, that is the crime scene of Sharo
n Tate, one of the victims of the Charles Manson's 'gang'.
Here is the list
of my favorite true crime books. I have read a few more, but either don't remember names anymore, or they weren't my favorite ones.
I am constantly on the look-out for more interesting, breath-taking, blood-boiling true crime stories.
I couldn't quite tell you what it is that really inrerests me about true crime, probably because I am sick of Hollywood and made-up stories, and knowing that these stories are REAL makes it so much more memorable. I was once doing an ISU on Ann Rule's books and have contacted her. She was really nice to reply. I am grateful to her for her works, although they
have awoken some feministic tendencies in me.
