When You Go To
Las Vegas, Amy,
Get Chocodiles at
the 7/11 on Flamingo!

That is the place that I bought Chocodiles and it is the place that wasfilmed in my "Choc-umentary" entitled 'Jersey Style' last year.

We are dead-serious about our Chocodiles!
And we want them back, damn it!

Remember Chocodiles? The last time that we saw them on the East Coast, it had a plastic see-through wrapper. It had a picture of a "pimped-out", pink cap-wearing, mack-daddy of a crocodile staring right at ya almost saying, "Hey, Baby!". (Well, to me he seemed like he was saying that!)

It is ridiculous that we can not buy Chocodiles!!!!

I recently e-mailed Hostess at their website                             and asked if I can buy Hostess Chocodiles from their Kansas City, Missouri plant. A returned e-mail stated that I can not buy Chocodiles from Hostess, a/k/a Interstate Brands Company (IBC), because "it will jeopardize freshness".

So, on my trip, I flew right on by Kansas City, Missouri and headed straight toward Las Vegas, Nevada.

While in Las Vegas, I went to a 7-11 on Flamingo Road and bought 8 boxes of Chocodiles at $0.49 each. I flew back via Continental Airlines. To my correct guess-timate, the Chocodiles were fresh! Not like what the e-mail stated from Hostess... Hmmm!

10/09/03:
I e-mailed Hometown Favorites today.                                        They responded promptly. But, not at all to my surprise, they stated, "Unfortunately, due to the short shelf life of this product and  that we are in the East also, we are not able to have this product shipped in and then shipped out on a timely enough basis. wish we had better news. We appreciate your interest."

10/09/03:
I e-mailed the people at Hometown Treats                                      to see if they can ship Chocodiles to us here on The East Coast! We'll see if they e-mail us back!

10/08/03:
Hey IBC! I still have Chocodiles from my trip this summer and they are still fresh! They are in the fridge with a nice chilled chocolate crunch to it - Mmmmm!

08/25/03:
About a dozen emails have been sent to IBC and still no response from the makers of Hostess Chocodiles! It is through message boards that raise concern that IBC is getting a little "shoddy" with its baking practices. We do not hold the messages to be true. Athough, the outcry of the public has been a lot less than fresh goods! We will open up a Chocodile message board here sometime today. Please, voice your concerns here. And maybe one day, just one day IBC will realize that  "The Peple" want their Chocodiles!

08/13/03:
We are awaiting a response from IBC, the makers of Hostess Chocodiles, as to why they refuse to supply the consumers of the East Coast their great product.
