~~The next day at a photo shoot~~
"JC, is anyone going to be able to be seen behind that hair of yours?" Chris laughed ripping on JC's hair for the fifth time that morning. "I just hope I don't have to stand behind you." He continued.
"Christopher, I think you need to get changed, or are you planning on sitting in your boxers for the rest of the shoot?" Brittany handed him another pair of pants to put on with a coordinating top. Brittany went to the other side of the room where she found Joey and Lance pulling their shirts over their heads, as she looked them over in approval.
"Very nice boys, who would have known that you could clean up that nicely." She gave them a warm smile and hugged them both as they walked back to the spot in front of the mirrors. "Hey both of you better not sit, I don't want you to wrinkle." She yelled with a pencil in her mouth.
"Got it Brittany!" Lance waved to her. All five guys were holding on their own conversations like always, while Brittany searched and searched for something for Justin to wear.
The guys felt so comfortable with Brittany since she had been with them for over 5 years that they talked about anything.
"So Justin did you have fun last night with Britney?" Joey nudged him as the rest of the guys turned to Justin who was a bright shade of red.
"Um..." He cleared his throat. "Yeah...you guys I can't believe I slept with her."
"What do you mean you can't believe it, you finally became a man." JC smiled not knowing about the promise between Justine and Justin.
"That's the problem." Justin sighed but his expression quickly changed.
"Even though it was great. I guess what they say is right. If you can shake it on stage you are damn good in bed." Justin gushed about his experience the night before.
"I can't believe you. You are such an asshole." Brittany threw the clothes she had picked out for him at his face.
"Whoa Britt..." JC was cut off.
"You know what Justin, I thought you were better and you wouldn't do that to her. But I guess I was wrong and after 5 years you put up a pretty good front that even I, after practically living with you day after day, didn't see what kind of a dick you were." Brittany stormed out of the room slamming the door loudly making her exit known. Justin threw the clothes off of himself jumping off the chair, causing it to go crashing down.
"Shit!" He muttered under his breath on his way running out the door.
He rushed around looking for Brittany and found her sitting on a bench on the far side of the studio. He slowly walked up to her not sure what she was going to do. One thing he had learned about Brittany after five years was that she didn't get mad very often but when she did there was no telling what she would do. She was unpredictable. He noticed that she was mumbling to herself and punching the bench with her fist every so often and her eyes we glazed over with anger.
"Brittany, I seriously can explain." He stood in front of her and wanted to run as she slowly let her angry eyes drag up to his scared ones.
"I can't even stand to look at you, or even think about what you did and what it is going to do to my friend."
"What do you know about Justine?" He asked, trying his best to make his actions from the night before seem ok, even to himself.
"Maybe not as much as you, but what I do know is that you broke a promise Justine holds close to her heart. One I don't think she will ever be able to forgive you for."
"What do you mean. It's Justine, she has always forgiven me. Always." Justin knew that with every stupid thing that everyone would hate him for, Justine was always on his side willing to stick up for him.
"I can't even begin to explain how blind you are. Or how much I am disappointed in you." Brittany said more sad then angry.
"What happened to the little Justin that used to come to me when he needed girl advice? He would never have thought to do this to his best friend. And can I tell you something, Justin?" She looked up at him again straight in his eyes. A look that made Justin want to cry because of everything he had ever done wrong in his life.
"What Brittany?" He said quietly.
"I miss that Justin. And I wish he would come back. You have two weeks."
"Two weeks for what?" He asked confused.
"To tell her, or I do." She got up leaving Justin to think about everything she had said to him.
Justine had just walked in the door with subway for everyone when Brittany stormed past her. She noticed Justin walking slowly back from the same direction the Brittany had come from.
"What's wrong with Britt?" Justine asked Justin trying her luck.
"Um...nothing." He said walking past her not even making eye contact. He couldn't after what Brittany had said to him. Or what he had done the night before.
Justine stood there, clueless, not knowing where to go. Finally, she spotted Lance and JC on the couches next to the dressing room. She quickly paced over to them.
"Hey guys, I brought you guys some food. Not like you need any after all the crap they have for you guys." She acted happy trying to forget what had just happened.
"Food!" JC jumped up grabbing the bag like he hadn't eaten in weeks.
"You are my life saver, Justine! I love you so much, what would we do without you!?" He hugged her, grabbing the sandwich that would be his, knowing what kind she would get for him, and started to eat. All the guys soon appeared and were eating their sandwiches including Justin. For once, they were all quiet and Justine had a minute to think about how she hadn't seen Brittany since she stormed off. Looking around the room, she spotted her standing next to the photographer, talking. She smiled at her friend and decided that she was right. That maybe she should stop worrying about Justin. It wasn't like he would ever break his promise to her without at least discussing it first. He wasn't that kind of guy. He had never broken a promise yet. Why would he start now?
