| Welcome to the page about my favourite band.... Operation Ivy.... Operation Ivy are a punk band from California, USA. Operation ivy were Jesse, Lint, Matt and Dave. The were formed in 1987 and ended in 1989. (unfortunatly) But two of the members went on to play in Rancid. The band weren't about for a long while, so as a result they only produced one album, Energy. This was released after the band broke up. The album is my favourite album I own, since I stumbled upon Op Ivy a year ago... I listen to it nearly everyday...... it's 27 tracks of punk/ska.... but with no horns in it. The songs all have differant meanings like thinking for yourself, not conforming to societys rules and other stuff. So it's all good I suggest you go and buy it... now.. This band are amazing.. and what's also amazing is how wen they wrote all this they were only 18...... |

Matt is Matt Freeman of Rancid.... so there u go, he went onto play in Rancid. Bottom left-Dave-Drums Bottom right- Lint-vocals, guitar... Lints actually called Tim and he went onto play in Rancid too. |
