Vaginal Birth After C-section
(VBAC)
With VBAC's doctors fear the uterus scar will rupture
Some of the up sides to VBAC's are:

- Safety- Vaginal birth even VBAC is safer for mommy and baby than a c-section

-Shorter Recovery Time

- More Personal Involvement

- Lower Cost

The current recommendations are:

- VBAC is perfered over repeate c-section for women with low transverse uterine scars (lower horizontal scar on abdomen)

- There is no limit on how many previous c-sections are unsafe. Many women who have had 2 or 3 c-sections have had VBAC's wiith no complications

- Women with high vertical uterine scars should not try to have a VBAC
