Thoroughbreds are the fastest breed of horse. They are primarity used for racing and English riding (especially jumping and horse shows). These horses have long and powerful legs, a small head with expressive eyes, a long and muscular neck, a sloped shoulder, wide chest, and long back. Most of these horses are bay, chestnut, or gray. Many Thoroughbreds can be high-strung and difficult to ride, but not all are like this.
