Summer
Hmmm... The season has changed in a blink, from cloudy skies to what I think, is the most desirable season. Why do the seasons change? Oh, I don't know! All I know is warm sun has come, blue skies are here, and flip-flops are the shoes to wear. But why do I care? There's the pool, the beach, theme parks too! But why do those when I have you? I have a friend that's tan and tall, with pretty eyes and a beautiful mane, a shiny coat, and an elegant name! Dapples dance across her back like butterflies in a grassy field. Summer is here, and it appears we will be spending it together. We'll ride across the sandy beach till sunset calls us in to eat. I'll have my salad, and you'll have your hay, and I will pray to thank God for our day. We'll settle down and go to bed while horses dance inside my head. As we lay upon that lush green grass, we will fall asleep and dream of tomorrow.

Cabin, Sweet Cabin
Cabin, sweet cabin
Sitting in snow,
Looking upon a reindeer to know
Santa was there
perched on a bear
Ready to pounce on any small hare.

Snowflakes
Fluttering in delight,
Shimmering in the moonlight,
Snowflakes come like a kite.
Dropping down with all their might.
They certainly were a sight,
Except for a little frostbite!
Suddenly they fight,
Knowing that they are right
To bite and take flight
Just like a knight.
Now lying down to rest
They know it is the best
To act like a guest
And not like a pest!
Done with their quest
Of a flight-test
They are told to go West
But of course they protest!
Finally at rest
They don't want to go West
And start another quest.
Their argument won,
They are finally done
And ready to have some fun!
