Well Ive been riding for as long as I could hold onto a saddle, which would be about 12 or 13 years. The first horse I ever rode was Banner, and she took care of me like I was her baby. I think she appreciated how much people loved her and wanted her, so she return the favor. She's a just a special horse, and still rolling 32!

Well it all started when I was 10 and I came up to my mom and asked if I could take riding lessons. She was so thrilled that I wanted to take riding lessons and was happy that I loved horses as much as she did. I think it made her feel that she wasnt the only one left on our family to care for the horses...I have always loved them, but never took an intrest in taking lessons til then. Well we started looking at stables and we came up with Sedgefield Stables in Greensboro(shoed there years later). well rode there for about 3 months then quit, because my mom wasnt really at ease with me riding there, lol.

Well we quit down there and started riding at Sarahs(she helped with hay, for flood victims(horses). Well rode there fora while and quit, never really like it there anyways. But I never got to canter Flicka, *SNIFF SNIFF*. But oh well.

After that I didnt ride the whole summer, but then started back in the spring time. It was my birthday and I got Buttons for my birthday and also I was told that I would be taking lessons agin. YAY. I would start taking lessons at Lori G.'s, where we got Buttons from.
Well that weekend we went to the show and watched. Oh how much I wanted to show there. But little did I know that in month I would.

I had only been riding for a few weeks when my first show came up, at TTC. The show went good, even though I got there 5 minutes before my class strted, lol

Well just a few weeks layter I was at SteepleHill in walk-trot and I got champion for the day. I was so proud of myself and Goldie. And from then on it was smooth sailing, champions and reserve champion. I maybe missed 2, *GRIN*.

And the end of teh show season, November, our barn had won every single division and we were so happy. I won Walk-Trot(Goldie, big ribbon and a trunk), Stephanie J. won long-sturrip(Webster), Lauren G. won special(Websterm boy was he ever popular, lol) Lindsey won short-sturrip(Goldie) and I think Kilie won Young Entry(Goldie)(all I can remember), so we racked up!!!lol

I alos could of recieved a silver plate if I would of went to the first show*SNIFF SNIFF*, but Lindsey(Goldie) and Meg(Ein) won it, and shared it...great job. But oh well.

The next year didnt go as good except when I showed Goldie one last time for Kilie in Short-Sturrip...I got Champion for the day...YAY, GOLDIE AND ME!
