What is the Difference Between Limestone and Gravel? |
|
|
|
Limestone is made from solid and yellow rock, so every stone is crushed into cubical shape so that it interlocks with the rest of the stones to give you more solid road base.
Gravel is grey and made mostly from loose round stones so it has a tendency to roll around more. Gravel weights more than limestone so a 22 ton load of limestone is about 14.5 cubic yards and a 22 ton load of gravel is only about 12.5 cubic yards. |
