| Robert is a resident of Willimantic Connecticut and a graduate from E.O Smith High School. Upon graduation Robert enlisted in the U.S. Army. Robert has no formal art education however grew up with a love for drawing. A pencil in hand has never been idle. After discovering fantasy art and works such as that of Boris Vallejo Robert has concentrated his efforts to that area. His medium of choice is colored pencils however Robert has also completed works in oils and acrylics. Other past projects have also involved lead sculptures and the painting of murals. Robert has recently been exploring fashion design and has taken his designs through to completed products. In some of Robert�s more resent works he was attempted to merge his love for fantasy with symbolism. For the most part Robert has always considered his art as a hobby. A career in the art field has only been a distant pipedream. However now, Robert�s desire is to turn his hobby into a career and grab onto the dream. Robert is now a member of the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artist and has participated in some local shows. Several of Robert�s works have been featured on web sites and on line galleries. |
