While from its opening sequence the movie has a tense atmosphere, with dark undertones that are blatent at the same time.That made sense to me, anyone else? While the creepiness is a bit of a downfall, because it gets kind of repetitive. The acting is great, and the effects are great...EXCEPT for the CGI which is so painfully bad it made me want to gouge out my eye-balls at points. I'd also like to say i hated the origonal but after the viewing of this awsome movie i plan to rewatch the orgional(only this time it wont be the "vesrion you've never seen before" ) The movie is all around an enjoyably-creepy-good time. Also there are refrences to the origianl if you have a good eye or memory. cCharicter development is fantastic, and i found myself realy carring for the people, The movies end will keep you utterly glued to the screen. This movie is so good it could be a stand alone.
