He was the son of Lawrence Horrocks b: 1813 Haslingden,Lancashire. And Lawrence was the son of Richard Horrocks. Thanks for all you are doing with Horrocks research.

My great-great grandmother was Hannah or Ann Horrocks. I know nothing of her except that she married Owen Norris, who was born October 26, 1807 in Bury, Lancashire. I assume she was born 1808 or so. Is your John Horrocks, born 12 Jan 1777 the possible fat er of Hannah? Help, please!

I enjoyed my tour of your home page. I am also searching Horrocks. My Horrocks family memebers were all involved in a law suit in Wigan England. It involved the Brogan's, Horrocks, Rigby's, Baxendale's and Moran families. Any information abou this please ontact me.
