Weeping Willow

Put upon this earth
Grew too fast
Branched in many directions
Trying to reach the the world, heaven

Once a symbol of love
Soft branches that curve and arch
Rustling leaves from passing breezes
The wind that comes and goes

One that weeps for all
Falling to the ground
Desire to return to the roots,
The earth of non-existence

Always a protector
Giving shade and arms to embrace
Nostalgic waiting and present thinking
At the lake of reflections
Your friend
