What is this rose you give to me
As I untreasure its possibility
Does it signify a love unequal
Or another stage within this sequel
What does it mean this rose's color
A heart once red now a blue pallor
A love frozen in time
Or one that ran out of rhyme
Lips of a refreshing kiss
Or a frostbitten heart gone amiss
Rivers and oceans of tears shed
Thoughts that pour into my head
Accepting it as everything it could be
