Silence In Wonder

Silence beyond my window and I watch it softly snow,
Bringing me back to a place I use to know.

White sand beaches that twinkling in the sunlight,
Like a mirrored reflection of a starry night.
Snowflakes falling like rain in slow motion.
Fairies dancing and floating over a concrete ocean.
Castles in the distance and tiny cherub imprints.
Snow white blanklets with my kittycats footprints.
Surfers hanging ten on powdered water.
Iced silver trees shining like knights armor.
Genies flying on carpets down white desert dunes,
And the night approaches with the early moon.
I cherish these winter magic carnivals,
It warms my heart with winter's water marvel.
