Angels Touch

Out of darkness came your light
When you spread your wings of angelic white
With your wings you enveloped me
It must have been then that I coud see
That somewhere inside me I had some good
That evil would tempt me as best as it could
Doing its best to make me fall on my knees
Make me beg saying "please don't, please"
But as I knelt and listened to the devil's cant
In your voice, words of encouragement began to chant
And with your blissful song, did I take flight
Away from despair, my darkest night
With malice abhorred
To the heavens I soared
An angel's touch was all I needed
My angel's words were all I heeded
