Going west on Highway 43, coming out of Joplin, drive to the Love's Gas Station exit.
Turn left and pass all gas stations and restaurants. You will also pass Loma Linda. (An obscene picture is painted on the sign).
Kep driving a couple miles or so and you will come to a road called Iris. It is on the right side of the road, next to "Dana's Dog Grooming."
Turn here. Drive all the way to end of the road, until to reach the end at "Stateline" road.
Turn right here. Keep driving, passing "E60."
You will come to a road called "E50" on the left side of the road.
Turn here.
This is the "New" Spook Light Road. You can park anywhere on the side of this road.
Turn off engine, lights, AND radio. Wait in silence. It may take a while. If do not have any luck, turn around and come back THE WAY YOU CAME.
When you read the enterance again, turn left.
Keep driving until you come to "E40" on the left side of the road. The sign is hard to see, so watch carefully. (The end of "Gum" road comes just before it on the right side of the road).
Turn here on "E40." This is the "Old" Spook Light." You have a better chance of seeing it here, than on "E50."
