Here I am, a solo traveler in Hong Kong. Very safe area, I never felt afraid. It is a beautiful city, but sometimes smoggy. Luckily, the two days I was up on Victoria's Peak, it was fair. The view from my hotel room in Kowloon, looking out toward Hong Kong harbor. What a busy place! A view of the harbor.

Can you believe the view this cliff dweller must enjoy? This house is worth a fortune, because real estate values have skyrocketed. Hong Kong island has established this walk, to allow people to walk entirely around Victoria's peak and get a feel for the flora of the area. Following the Victoria Peak Walk, I shot some incredible pictures of apartment buildings.

While farther into the walk, one comes upon very cool and verdant growth. Small houseplants in the US grow to specimens of enormous size in their natural habitate. On the other side of the island, the South China Sea sparkles.
