This is the town square in
Rothenburg, Germany, a walled, medieval city that escaped destruction during World War II. It is an incredibly picturesque place. Window boxes filled with flowers adorn almost every window, if you can believe it. One of the houses in the town was pictured in the movie, "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang".

around...first the knights on horses fight, then the people come out and dance in celebration, finally, the rooster way up on top has the final word!

At a winery in Rudesheim, Germany, we see the mansion in the distance. Also on the property is a wine museum, but we skipped going in and went shopping instead.
