WATER COUNTRY USA
Water Country USA is a water theme park that is in Williamsburg , Virginia. It has lots of good rides like Hubba-Hubba Highway, Aquazoid, Big Daddy Falls, the Melt Down, Jet Scream, etc. It opens only in the summer time between May to September. There are  thousands of people  there every day. I used to work over there in summer 2004, and I had lots of fun. I couldn't go there last year because I was really busy doing something else in summer. But this year, I finally went there to play with the water, and enjoyed the rides.
The weather was about 90 degree out side on July 4th weekend. I have already made a plan to go to the Water Country USA with my sister, her family, my boyfriend, my brother, and his wife. We drove about thirty minutes from Newport News to Williamsburg. When we got to the entrance, there were some booths that we needed to get a parking permit from them. But, we didn't pay for the parking at all because we got a season pass. It was  eight dollars for a parking permit if we didn't have a season pass. We got there about noon, but there were lots of cars. My boyfriend didn't has a season pass so he needed one to get in. So we were waiting on a long line about 20 minutes to get. The prices of the admission were on a board. Just a day regular ticket cost 39.95 dollars. It was really expensive. After, we got in and changed to swimsuit. We needed to rent a locker to put our stuffs in. We paid ten dollars for an all day regular locker.
Jet Scream was not too far from the locker area, so we decided to ride that as our first ride. For that ride, we didn't wait for so long. It was an easy ride, but I really enjoyed it. The next ride for us was the Aquazoid. It was kind of hard to find where the entrance is. We followed the sign, and we got there. There were lots of people who were waiting to ride that. As we were waiting, we could hear the screaming voices from the black giant tunnel. We were on the long line about forty minutes; finally, we could get on that awesome ride. My heart was beating so fast because I was excited. The maximum people that could get on the giant raft was four people. As we got on there, the life guard pulled our raft to the tunnel. It was fast and dark. All we could see was the beaming red light. I was screaming so bad. The ride was about a minute, but I had a blast. I just hate to wait for a long line to ride just one minute. After that ride, we went to the Katrina where we could get the foods from. The food  was all right but it was too expensive. The water was three dollars per bottle. We took the foods to eat at the surfer's bay. They have lots of chairs over there. As we were eating, we could see the people were having fun with the waving pool. After we ate, we continued to get on another ride. The Melt down seemed so cool to us. There was a sign that from where we was standing to the ride was forty-five minutes. But it wasn't that long, it was about twenty minutes. It was not a bad ride, but I didn't enjoyed it much. About a minute walk from the Melt down, it was Hubba-hubba highway. There were lots of life jackets hanging around that area. I grabbed a life jacket that fit me and went straight to the entrance to get on the water highway. That water sure cooled me down from the hot summer. The winding jet stream pulled me around the floating river. I got on there about three rounds trip, but I had to go.
We knew that we still missed a lot of rides, but we were too tired of playing with the water and waiting for the long line. We expected to go over there again in next month. I like Water Country USA because they've got a beautiful landscape, life guards, and first aids. As we walked in the park, we could hear the music along with our fun. The park was cleaned, so the water.
