Horizons
Youth Program is an academic after-school enrichment
program for youth grades k-8th that assists youth in
overcoming barriers to social, emotional, and educational
development in various subject matter. Horizons is a
safe place where youth feel comfortable problem solving,
risk taking, and growing in self-confidence, self-esteem
and motivation.

The
summer program runs from June 20th to August 18th, 2005.
Summer hours will be from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Monday through Thursday. |

| Our
Summer Program provides educational support services
in Math, Reading and Writing, Arts and Crafts, Chess,
and Computers as well as fieldtrips and enrichment opportunities. |
|
| During
the summer sessions, Horizons Youth Program likes to
venture into the community. Once a week, Horizons will
walk to Martin Luther King Park for a day of swimming,
softball, basketball and other outdoor activities. Fieldtrips,
lunch and snacks will be provided to program participants
at no additional cost. |
