| What we have here is a new Power Metal band that has put out a very good debut 2003 demo of what they call "True Heavy Metal",You say what is a band of this style doing on this site,well to be honest I don't know,but when I first heard the demo I had to give them a review because this is something that I really enjoyed from the first listen.For starters we have "By Steel I Reign Supreme" a very hard pounding opener to set the mood then we have "The Battle Slain" a very N.W.O.B.H.M. sounding track ,excellent!"Preacher" a Running Wild cover is pulled off with par excellence but the next track "Grind Their Bones" is far by the best track on here with pure haterd lyrics and a great chours to sing along too,a true headbanging track,the closer "Dark Arrival Of Powers Malign"is a very good track that keeps your ears glued in to whats next,in closing this is a Great debut Battlerage has put out with pounding drums and killer guitar work the vocals sound as good as any other major Metal band that plays this style has.Get this if your into this type of music you won't regret it. 10/10 http://www.battlerage.tk/ |

| First of all I will not compare this band to anybody cause their is a million Black Metal bands out there at the moment,but one thing is certain,Hetroertzen play their style in a way most bands would like to sound like,this is a very good cd that takes you on a trip as soon as you hear it,I was amazed on how good the production on here is.From the opening track you can tell this band is not a joke they know what Black Metal is all about,cold and grim music with feeling.If your into all out fast blast that never stop then this isn't for you but if your into good old fashioned,then this is where it's at.Recorded in 2002 there are 8 tracks on here with just one that is kinda slow but the rest are all out heavy.I hear that a new one is already done and should be released very soon I just hope they keep their same style as on this one.10/10 http://hetroertzen.realnoise.net/ |

| Hailing from Santiago,Chile.Sheolgeenna are a straight out brutal Death Metal band in the ranks of early Morbid Angel and even Krisiun.You get it all here fast furious songs with pounding metal to kick someone's ass too.The lyrical content on this cd is about shades of eternal and mystical dark through out the centuries,so it's not your basic Death Metal yap,with song titles like "Apocrifos", "Iccha Shukra"you can see this is a new kinda direction nobody has seen and yes,this is all sung in english.Released on Rawforce Rec.this is a must have Death Metal release,10 tracks of pure neck breaking Death Metal the way it was meant to be.10/10 http://sheolgeenna.cjb.net/ |
