Dead Town
The light isn't right on jagged streets. Dusty puddles, the color of redstone. Lake shows no sky. This town is one shade. Skeletons from more promising times Lined up in two rows. They pull the mind towards possibility but lose their way.
In the Age of Light This place is overlooked. With no will to be discovered. Folk find joy with anger -but to embrace darkness is the quickest way to be forgotten. Is there more comfort to be found in a box or casket? Blocking thought with pillows as padding. Ceases breathing seeing thinking
Tunnel vision till the end. Too few stops without ever moving Hospital Restaurant Cemetary

In vain she yearns Too late she learns The sun also burns Her color turns
Untitled
The platform drops, -there's another beneath I climb to my feet to be dropped again, To see a familiar face, a friend I long for a rope, a knot, an end
Night Train
Across the silver moonbathed meadow The train whistle bounces towards us Damp grasses transform the noise into mist The mist passes through us, leaving a cold echo |
