Chicken Slices In Orange Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 1 fresh chicken approx. 2.666 lb
  • 1 egg
  • 1 orange

    Seasoning for chicken:
  • 2 tsp light soy
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 tbsp custard powder
  • 0.25 tsp Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp cornflour

    Sauce:
  • 0.5 tsp cornflour
  • 0.5 cup orange juice
  • 0.5 tbsp custard powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Method:
    1. Wash and debone chicken. Slice into large thin pieces. Marinate with seasoning
    for 20 minutes. Whisk egg and mix with chicken slices.
    2. Fry chicken slices with 4 tbsp oil till golden brown. Disp up.
    3. Boil sauce with 2 tbsp oil. Pour onto chicken slices. Ready to serve.
