"City on a Hill"

Luckily, has nothing to do with Protestants. Also known as Hilltop, Helltop и просто "гора." You can read about the beauties of its seclusion and closeness to nature in the AUBG 2001 Yearbook. We, as its inhabitants and/or frequent visitors, are concerned with more practical issues. At this moment, we can identify three key locations in the Hilltop dormitory.

1) Hilltop cafe/canteen...

... where you can not only order yourself a decent omelet, but also acquire an infinite (well, actually finite) number of boxes of juice, chocolate bars, chips, packs of cheese, strategically important Orbit and, if you're really desperate (which we constantly are), overpriced Pickwick tea. And all on the card!

2) Hilltop 77

Alas, the room known as 3some is gone forever. Some people graduate. Actually, the name "3some" is somewhat misleading. While sometimes the number of the room's inhabitants was indeed equal to three, it was by pure coincidence, and the identities of those three individuals varied wildly. Kseniya, for example, was usually a member of whatever combination present - except for one memorable Easter weekend.

The room often hosted tea parties (when Victor was smart enough to bring the tea and insensitive enough to stay way after midnight), cognac and wine parties when the same Victor brought the drinks) and a number of housewarming, also known as house boiling parties.

Htop 77 was remarkable not only for the third bed illegally placed there, but also for the incredible mess that could be rivaled by no other room on campus. Except Volga 208.

3) Hilltop 65

... or heaven on Earth. The only room on campus that people called home and it actually looked like one. Equipped with a fridge, numerous shelves, even more numerous candles and incense, an armchair and a cat, it, too, witnessed a lot of tea, wine, cognac and Baccardi parties. However, it rarely dawned on anyone to stay there after midnight. Ioana's sleepy face was more persuasive than all the dirty looks and hints from the 3some that they thought were suggestive and understandable.

Some of Room 65's darker secrets may never be uncovered., but we shall give a brief mention to the numerous bloody murders that happened there, during the AD&D campaign.

At this time, Htop 65 remains the family's last and best stronghold in Hilltop and is now the only reason why anyone would ever want to go there.
