The Last Goodbye
Amy O�Hara was an African-American girl who loved everything around her. From nature to animals to friends, she was an expert. But, she wasn�t very fond of her foster parents. They were never around. They left poor Amy home alone everyday after school. Now everything was changing. Her foster parents had told her that the entire �family� was moving from their apartment in Wisconsin to a huge mansion in Sacramento, California. Amy did not like the idea of moving so quickly. But, she had to.
The next day she told her best friend, Allison, about the move. �Sorry, Allison, I don�t really have a choice.� They did their secret handshake for the last time. �Too bad we can�t call each other, the Loser Bruisers will find out.� The Loser Bruisers were Amy�s foster parents. Amy called them that because when they were home, they were very mean and rude to Amy. Amy waved her last goodbye to Allison with tears in her eyes.
