[1] Mounted units fought in units of 2 to 6 elements.

[2] Roman cavalry can dismount as Reg Sp O, F,  Shk.

[3] Foot units in each legion should be broken down by troop class: Hastati, Principes, Triarii = 1 unit each. Allies would fight in units of 4 to 6 elements. Skirmishers would be less formal.

[4] Spanish Cv and LH can dismount as Irr  Plt O, H, Shk/Msl [Jav] or  Irr Sk S, Msl/Shk [Jav]

[5] Caetrati may support Cv or LH.

[6] Anti-elephant wagons, should be treated as Wagon Laager with limited missile capability (shooting as Untrained) that are automatically destroyed if pushed back by any foot or Elephants.

[7] For anti-elephant trick weapons against Phyrros, use flaming pig elements as per the Scythed Chariots rules. Incendiary pigs may make only up to three full moves at 10cm/round and have no possibility of manoeuvering once released (they are removed from play after the three rounds). If they manage to hit their target they will automatically cause Elephants to become enraged and test for direction. If they hit any other troop type they will melee with a factor of 0 (zero) and are destroyed if defeated.
