[1] Dismounting horsemen or chariot crews may do so as Irr Plt, Shk/Msl [Jav], or as Irr Sp F, (H), Shk, or as Irr Sk, Msl/Shk [Jav] of same morale class, grading etc.

[2] Attecotti should not be split-up, but be deployed in one Command under their own unit leader (who could also be the Command Element or serve under a non-Attecotti Command Element). If he should be killed or routed the Attecotti will then have to test for morale taking into account any non-Attecotti losses. If they become demoralized, the rest of the Command must test for reaction as well.

[3] Attecotti Superior Bb should be treated like Gallic S. They gain the advantage when drawing, but have –1 when losing.

[4] A suggested tactical unit for the Picts would be to have a front rank of Spearmen supported from a rear rank of Peltasts shooting javelins overhead. This will make them sufficiently aggressive since they can have rear support even when attacking (rear support for Spearmen is only for defence, except if Greek Hoplites). If the Spearman is killed, the Peltast, being Shk, may continue to fight on. If this mixed unit is adopted all its elements must be of the same grade, either S or O.

[5] Crossbows would be used after aproximately 500 A.D.

[6] Caledonian Superior Bb should be treated like any other Fast troop. The Superior advantage is only for morale, not melee (hence the lower cost).
