[1] Hittite Chariots may dismount as Reg Sp F, H, Shk/Msl [Bow], or Reg Sk, H, Msl/Shk/Msl [Bow] of similar class, grade etc.
[2] Other Chariots may dismount as Irr Plt, H, Shk/Msl [Bow] or [Jav] (depending on the missile carried by the Chariot) of similar class, grade etc.
[3] The number of Chariot elements must be at least 50% of the total elements fielded.
[4] Ibid
[5] Ibid
[6] Ibid
[7] Ibid
[8] Non-Skirmisher infantry, except guards, marines etc. must be fielded in units at least 8-elements strong.
[9] Hittite Spearmen were unshielded and thus count as Peltasts when shot at, but do not count the extra penalty for being Fast. Conversely, they cost 1 point less.
[10] Anatolian Swordsmen must be fielded together with Peltasts as rear support. These cannot provide support in melee, but may shoot overhead with javelins. If one is Untrained the other should also be.
[11] May provide support for Alik ilki spearmen.
