[1] Sarmatians are not considered allies, but must be grouped into a single Command under their own unit commander. If he should be killed in battle, the Sarmatian contingent will have to test for morale as if their Command had lost a Command Element (taking into acocount any non-Sarmatian losses within their Command). If they rout the rest of the units of the Command will have to test for morale as well.

[2] After 107 AD, the number of CARPODACAE is limited to  80. The Superior are the notorious falxmen. They should number no more than 1/3 of the total Bb infantry and should be fielded within the warbands of the infantry as their front rank (1 S for every 2 O). They fight as Gallic Bb S, F. For unit morale purposes, the unit should be treated as Superior only when charging.
