[1] Troops that can optionally be classed as Pro are recommended to be so in Asia, as veterans of Alexander’s campaigns.

[2] Eligible mounted can form wedges of 3 elements each. Light Horse in wedge formation may exceptionally use the +1 cohesion bonus of the wedge when fighting any opponents, but its other attributes remain the same as for all LH (rear support, use of lance, etc.).

[3] Up to 16 elements-strong with Philip II in Greece. Thessaloi can be fielded in rhomboid wedges of 4 elements each. Rhomboid wedges have the +1 cohesion bonus at first contact when defending, not when charging or advancing.

[4] Pikemen must be fielded in units (Taxeis) of 6 elements each.

[5] Psiloi Shk may support all Regular mounted

[6] Only fielded against Skythians in Asia

[7] Only used in sieges
