Now mayber you dont know what a fiber art is. Dont worry. Im going to teach you all about it. A Fiber art traditionally a handmade item made of natural fibers. Weaving, knitting, crochett, cross-stitiching, and even rope making are fiber arts.
They are called arts because like a painting these things take lots of time and skill to create. One example would be everything that goes into a simple scarf. A sheep is specifically breed for a certain qualitly of wool. Then the wool has to be cleaned and processed. After that it has to be spun. (Lots of people do all this by hand.) Then finally an artist knits or crochetts with the wool using certain needles and patterns that may have taken years to learn. Next time you cringe at the price of a handmade piece of clothing maybe you will think twice.
