Epilogue

At the end of January Zac went to New York to do the Calvin Klein Spring Line fashion show. He'd be out, publicly, for a little over two weeks. He hadn't spoken to Ben since the break up, and didn't plan on ever speaking to him again. With a phone call to Jayden and a short explanation of what had happened, Ben was no longer a part of the group of friends, no questions asked.

That morning he had his first interview since the Barbara Walters interview ran and he announced he was no longer dating Ben, and he got his first taste of what the public now thought of him. Upon walking into his hotel he was greeted by a group of fans, this time with quite a few guys, asking for autographs. They all stated they still loved him, even though he was gay. A few of the guys even said they now loved him because he was gay. It made him very happy.

"Zac," Sheila said to him. The show was over and Zac was putting his street clothes back on before they left. "When you're dressed Calvin wants to meet you." Zac raised an eyebrow.

"Really?" he asked. "That's a first." She shrugged.

"He was never available to meet you before, but since he's here he'd like to have a word with you." Zac nodded. He finished dressing and followed Sheila to meet the Calvin Klein. "Calvin, hi!" Sheila waved at him and he saw Zac standing next to her, so he came over. "Zac, this is Calvin Klein. Calvin, this is Zac Hanson."

"Nice to finally meet you," Calvin said, extending a hand for Zac to shake.

"Likewise."

"Thank you so much for doing the show," Calvin said, "and all the other ads." Zac shrugged.

"Well, it was good pay." Zac smiled. "It was fun."

"And besides the obvious reasons of having you do so much for me, there was a reason I wanted to meet you," Calvin said. "I know you have a career of your own, and you're very set in that, but I would really appreciate it if we had some sort of deal together." Zac raised an eyebrow.

"What kind of deal?"

"I would like you to become an official spokesperson for my company," Calvin said. "And in return I'll do whatever you'd like for your music career, from featuring any of your songs in my ads or anything else or that nature. Whatever you'd like. I can work around your schedule."

"Well I think that would be wonderful," Zac said. "My brothers and I need all the exposure we can get." Calvin nodded.

"Great. I'll be in touch," Calvin said. He shook Zac's hand again. "I'll let you get out of here, I know you're a busy man." Zac nodded. Calvin left and Sheila stepped in front of Zac.

"Are you sure about this? This is a pretty big deal," Sheila said. Zac nodded and looked at her. However, his gaze fell past her and he connected eyes with someone across the room who was getting dressed. He was just as built as Zac with blonde hair and light eyes; Zac couldn't see exactly what color from this far away. He was tan and upon noticing Zac was looking at him, he smiled a little bit, his cheeks dimpling. He looked away, but a moment later looked back at Zac again.

"Yeah," Zac said. "UmI'll be right back." Zac ignored her as she protested and he walked over to him. By that time he'd put his shirt back on and he was by himself. He turned around and stood an inch or two taller than Zac. "Hi."

"Hi," he said, smiling.

"I'm Zac," Zac said, extending a hand. He took it.

"James. Nice to meet you."

"You too," Zac said. "Um, I saw you out there, you looked really good. Have you been doing this long?"

"Thank you. Actually, this is my first show," James said. "I was really nervous."

"Yeah, it was my first show too," Zac said, scratching the back of his head. "Uh, are you busy tonight?"

"No, actually I'm not," James said.

"Do you want to get some coffee?" Zac asked. James smiled.

"Yeah. Yeah, I would."

"Great. Let's go," Zac said. James grabbed his coat off the back of the chair and followed Zac out of the room, Zac giving Sheila a wave on the way.
