| The Babe: Baby now weighs about 15 ounces and is about 12.5 inches long. The body is becoming better proportioned each day, and the bones of the middle ear begin to harden. Your baby is starting to develop 'brown fat' -- this specialized fatty tissue keeps your baby warm. About now, your baby is developing a strong grasp reflex. If born now, our baby has a chance for survival. But, Let's hope, however, that the baby stays put for several more weeks! Like till 39 weeks!!! Mom: I am feeling great and starting to feel more regular movement and not just flutters, I am feeling the baby flip over and kicks or punches. But Daddy and Charlie cannot feel it yet. I have been getting more and more heartburn. And as much as I have loved and craved the salsa, I am trying to stop eating so much, as I am sure it contributes to the heartburn! |
