P.A.S.S. It On |

P.A.S.S. It On is a community outreach program designed to assist pet owners who find themselves in need of assistance. Our pets do not understand the limitations that come with age. Dogs do not know what it means for a human to fall ill. P.A.S.S It On is a program for seniors, people with disabilities, and persons who are receiving hospice care. Pets should not have to leave a home because the human they love and who loves them has come into difficult times. It is HOPE's desire to assist in these situations enabiling individuals to keep their pet, and quite often their closest friend, in the home.

Pet meals on Wheel- delivery of pet food to individuals who are not able to travel to a store as often as needed to obtain pet food. Eligibility requirement- senior citixens, individuals receiving hospice care or healthcare aide due to a disability.
Assisted Living Thereapy Dog Visits- scheduled visits by certified thereapy dogs to persons who are either living in an assisted living environment or individuals who are homebound.
Special Needs Adoption Program-Persons who are nat able to to go a local shelter or rescue to seek a pet can apply to have HOPE help them with their search for a pet that fits their situation.
Senior Handler Dog Training Classes- A cource tailored for persons over the age of 60 who want to learn to train their dog using the clicker technique. (you even learn to train your dog to fetch the news paper)
