Your Favorite HCCCC Activity: Making cards for cancer patients because they're a direct encouragement to the patients. How have you been Affected by cancer: So many people around us develop cancer, and with a polluted environment and unhealthy diets, more of us are prone to develop it. I want to make a difference in this life-changing disease by helping healthy individuals prevent it, and cancer patients make the most out of their valuable lives. I lost my grandmother to cancer, which heightens my desire to help cancer patients. I know what a terrible ordeal it is for everyone involved, and I want to alleviate the situation. This club gives me an opportunity to reach out to them, and inform others on how to prevent it. Your Favorite HCCCC Activity: Making cards for cancer patients because it brightens their day by bringing hope and love. How have you been affected by cancer: My grandmother from my father's side recently died of cancer, and it was an extremely difficult time for my family. Office (position): Activities Commisioner Grade: 12 Email: [email protected] Reason You Joined HCCCC: I Have met and known many people who suffered from cancer; their struggle and their cause, touched my heart so much that I decided to pitch in. Your Favorite HCCCC Activity: Daffodil Days are the best time of the school year!! They're so pretty and nice....and I love to deliver them and see people with daffodils in the hallways! How have you been effected by cancer: My aunt and two of my family friends have had cancer.....some of them have fought cancer with determination whereas others just prayed, in either case, the fact that someone's life is hanging loose can arouse sympathy and inspiration in anyone's heart. Interests: Reading books, listening to music, talking with my friends, Badminton, and of course....working for cancer Quote: "A smile is cheaper and has more effect than a make-up kit" |
