It pains me to see you in so much pain. So much turmoil! I look into your eyes and see emptiness. I can feel the walls that you have built around you. The smile that has left your lips. You use to be so free. You brought so much life and excitement into every room you entered. You made people laugh. You danced at life, and sang in joy. Now, I watch in fear. I watch with helplessness as you withdraw. You distance yourself from family and loved ones. I watch you sit in your private hell, day after day, knowing, I can't reach you. What happened to your fighting spirit? What happened to your optimism? What happened to your faith? Where is that person I knew years ago? What happened to bring you to this point? I miss your smile.
