�  Believing people were stealing things
     �  Fearful and suspicious of others

Short-term memory loss (1995)
     �  Forgetting to eat dinner
     �  Many tasks going at once because she forgot previous tasks                                     �  Repeating the same story again only five minutes after she initially told it
     �  Difficulty playing card games

Irrational thinking (1998)
     �  Thinking family members were out to get her
     �  Accusing others of stealing her belongings
     �  Hallucinating
     �  Unable to balance checkbook or complete crossword puzzles

 
Recognition (1999)
     �  Difficulty recognizing family members
     �  Unaware of her surroundings
     �  Wandering
     �  Talking to �someone� and showing them around the house
     �  �Sun downing� (becoming hyperactive at night)
     �  Overdressing or wearing every jewelry item at once
     �  Confusing night with morning

 
Inability to care for the self (2000 and beyond)
     �  Requiring 24-hour care and attention
     �  Long-term memory appearing to be only memories left
     �  Re-living past experiences
     �  Shouting and hostile behavior at times
     �  Difficulty forming complete sentences
     �  No longer recognizing family members
