| Nestled in the countryside near Walkerton, Indiana, is a beautiful location most people call Thunder Valley Ranch. On two or more days a week, if you happen to be driving by, you can often understand how it derived its name. The sudden crack of shotguns and the sight of a group of young people could be a frightening thing to most people. But at Thunder Valley Ranch, young men and women are participating in an exciting sport known as Skeet. Established through the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) and the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) a new skeet team, the Hoosier Gun Swingers, has begun practicing in the area. This young team will be competing in the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) competitions throughout the state and country. |
