My Hometown
I am originally from Midland, Michigan (for those of you out-of-state people, it is NOWHERE near Detroit!!) and I have lived there for the vast majority of my life. It is usually cold there, and I am always plagued with allergies. :-) However boring Midland may seem to some people, it is always nice to go home to. Sometimes it's just nice to leave the sights and sounds of the big city behind and go home to a quiet spot where everything is familiar.
I graduated from Midland High School in June of 2000. In high school, I was very involved with the Symphonic Orchestra, the Girls Golf Team (SVL champs and undefeated, 1998-2000), the Debate Team, and National Honor Society. As I look back now, I realize that I loved high school and that all of my activities did me well. :-) I have many fond memories of my 3 years there.
