My Favorite Indiana Basketball Books:
Miracle of St. Anthony: A Season with Coach Bob Hurley and Basketball's Most Improbable Dynasty -- This may be a Jersey City based team, but their's definately some Indiana theme in this story also.  Overall, probably the best book on basketball I've ever read.  Coach Bob Hurley is the real deal.

The Big O: My Life, My Time, My Game
by Oscar Roberston
They Call Me Coach by John Wooden
Drive: The Story of My Life by Larry Bird
Knight: My Story by Bob Knight
Playing for Knight: My Six Seasons with Coach Knight by Steve Alford
Hoosiers: The Fabulous Basketball Life of Indiana by Phillip Hoose
Nice Girls Finish First by Mark Bradford and Coach Muffet McGraw

Here are some instructional oriented books:
The Art of Basketball by Oscar Robertson
Bird on Basketball by Larry Bird
Guard Play by Steve Alford

Here are a couple that stand out that weren't written by Hoosiers:
Stuff Good Players Should Know by Dick Devenzio
Five-Star Basketball Drills by Howard Garfinkle and Will Klein
Coaching Basketball Successfully by Morgan Wootten
Positive Coaching by Jim Thompson

You can find any of these books at

My Favorite Movies with ties to Indiana Basketball:
Hoosiers

The Oscar winning classic based on the true story of tiny Milan high school.
Blue Chips Bob Knight along with several IU players are featured in this film starring Nick Nolte.
Lonesome Jim This film was written by my brother - James Strouse - and was a featured film at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Directed by Steve Buscemi, the movie was filmed in Indiana and has a struggling girls basketball team in the story. Casey Affleck plays the team's reluctant coach and Liv Tyler is one of the player's mom.
