Commentary On the Kazoo

"Kazoo. Instrument of the gods. How wonderful of an instrument it is. Can you think of an instrument more sophisticated? More magnificent or majestic than the marvelous Kazoo? It's about time that we people began to take notice and glorify the grand Kazoo for its true worth. Not only does it warm the hearts of millions, but it makes your lips feel funny too...can a guitar do that? How about a drum set? ... no they can't ... and if you can make them do that I applaud your courageousness. It is also possibly the most versatile instrument on this Earth. What other instrument can you rock out on then stick in your pocket and take along to the next venue...not a synthesizer, I'll tell you that much. How many of you as children can honestly say didn't have a Kazoo? I know I had one. And I loved my Kazoo. As all of you should have as well. The point I am trying to make is that the Kazoo holds a special place in the hearts of not only the people of this Nation, but also of the Nation itself. Let us praise and marvel at the many wonders of the Almighty Kazoo, for it is truly the instrument of the gods. Thank you Kazoo!"
"You know what's great about kazoos? Well, just about everything really. I mean, anyone can play one, kinda. I mean I guess it would be kind of hard for a sloth to play one, mainly because they don't have lips, poor guys. But, apes, they can play kazoos, and they would really enjoy that too, because apes like that sort of stuff, you know, putting stuff in their mouth. Penguins are probably a bad example, they kinda sound like they already are playing kazoos though, but they would never be able to hold one, they have wings, think about it. Come to think of it, sloths would have trouble holding a kazoo as well, especially the 2-toed kind, but that doesn't matter as they can't play them anyway, remember, no lips. So, I guess it is safe to say, humans are the only ones that should play the kazoo and maybe a few well trained apes, but that's about it. Either way, kazoos are still cool.
