My point of view
on this subject is
that there is
value in scientific advances
that allow us to grow
and develop as humans. Agricultural advances
and bioengineering
have and will affect our
food supply;
as we know it today,
and into the future.
We must be aware of the opportunities
and the ramifications
of the growth of this field
and the extent to which our lives are affected by it.
We as consumers
and global inhabitants
must be mindful of
the affects of
biotechnology on our planet
and on ourselves.

Genetically engineered grains such as this golden rice hold the promise of sustenance to nations around the world...
is it progress or poison?
