Staring out the window
Of the emergency waiting room.
Really bored.
Doctors are really slow.
Been here for two hours.
Not one person has been looked after
Since I got here.
Fell off my bike.
Front wheel came off.
Went over the handle bars.
Helmet saved my life.
Next door neighbour found me
Bleeding on the side of the road.
Drove me to the hospital.
Hurting all over.
Both physically and mentally.
Now I sit here waiting......
