For those familiar with Odessa, TX, I graduated from Permian High School in January, 1984. I then moved to Phoenix, AZ where I attended DeVRY Institute of Technology where I participated in the Computer Information Systems for Business program. I met my wife in Phoenix, which is where we got married. We moved from Phoenix back to Odessa in June, 1990. While living there, I got actively involved in community theatre. I acted at the Great Globe of the Southwest theatre where I performed in Shakespeare's plays: "A Winter's Tale"; "Twelfth Night"; "Romeo & Juliet"; "Hamlet"; "Taming of the Shrew"; and one non-Shakespeare play called "A, My Name Is Alice" a rather bawdy adult musical. Acting is an awesome experience. I had the privilege of acting under Dr. Shawn Watson, a professor at the University of Texas, Permian Basin and with her husband, a well-known acting coach, Stephen Cole, a professor at Cornell University. Mr. Cole has taught the likes of Jack Lemmon and Jimmy Smitz, among many others.
I attended the Austin School of Massage Therapy (ASMT) in 1992 at a satellite school located in Midland, TX. That was an incredible experience and something I will always be able to use and still do. I recommend going to massage therapy to anyone who even remotely thinks they might want to learn it. It will change your life for the better, even if you end up not using it to make a living. My massage sessions, in case anyone is interested, last between 2-3 hours on average. I will give a 1 hour massage but I don't like to because I feel rushed. I have been known to give a few 4 hour massages.
I moved from Odessa to Albuquerque in January, 1995. My wife and I first participated in the Landmark Forum together in May, 2000. I've since gone into leadership training with Landmark Education Corporation (LEC) and am currently in the Wisdom Course. My life has been forever transformed through this work.
