Don't Surrender
---------------------------
i won't submit to that role ever again; it's all-encompassing.  break right through conventional wisdom.  what a burden is, it's that emotion.  some say it is a four-letter defense mechanism.... because they want it, and don't have it, they want it, and don't have it, then it's there and suddenly you're not.... you yield to someone else because he's all..... and you wonder where your dreams went in all those years.  you wonder why your friends alienate you, but it's your lingering imagination, fragments to which you cling.
Pills and Youth
----------------------------
i don't particularly like expectations, as though i'm mindful of the rules.  don't give more credit than credit that's due, oh yeah baby what's it to you?  self-proclamations..... if i'm the insolent, then who are you?  pills and youth and i'm nailed to the bar with liquor.  pills and youth and i'm nailed to the bar with liquor.  don't particularly like confinement, oh no i don't like rules.  well, it seems i'm stuck in another place where he saw me how i wanted to be seen.  self-proclamations.... if i'm the deviant, then who are you?  wretched children, what do they know?  when our mentors walk out on us, we're left speculating rights and wrongs, twiddling thumbs and ripping down standards and wandering into mischief.
Tasty
---------------
in some ways, i've adopted your attitude, the way you focus with intent, the way you question a compliment.  taking note of a vacant lot..... i don't know if that's good or not..... but i do miss them, they're awesome, well they so perfectly fit mine, they so perfectly fit mine, they so perfectly fit mine, they so perfectly fit mine.  dismissing small talk for what it's worth, an insult, oh analyze it and pick it apart.  look for underlying meanings, recurrent themes, and innuendos....
I Quit
-----------------
argue a job does not define you, though to the lazy, it's easier to sum-sum you up.  a brute, a stoic, an imbecile, than to consider the depth that you might possess.  throw out your even stakes, over which the dogs will fight.  those who stand in line will prevail, i know, but don't get mad at me, i quit, woah..... systematic modern times, dehumanized.  it's a balance in uniformity, but not-not in wage.  ever-questioned in policy by patrons who lend to their assumptions and try to take from my esteem.
Shut Doors
--------------------
some minds are hard to make when their needs were shown the door.  but when the last brick falls then consider where they go.  blue eyes are red and black, a summation of the rage, well it manifests itself through fits of words and craze.  once upon a midnight in the mission with the line outside, when you reach the front, they turn away, they turn away.  they shut their doors; the acts continue then the husbands are the rules.
At Times We're Brilliant
--------------------------------
at night by the t.v., there's a collection of beer cans compiled of drunken wisdom and there used to be more relaxation.  reminds me of you and me and how we threw down pitchers and walks home to sweet words and innocent grippings and feelings of rejection.  you were a bear who held his prize, lashing out at the wise, questionable, animal-like subjects who strike..... hungry for something sweet, oh yeah, hungry for something sweet, and they await your approval or strike, they await your approval.
Don't Be Afraid of It
-------------------------
product of your mind, directed imbalance.  is it much a relief to (consider) call yourself "unique?"  there's a boy -- he'd trade his art for peace, of yeah.  but would i comfort in hang-your-hat, oh yeah.  he's careful not to hate his mentality, but, of those simpler than (he) him, it's still a deep-set envy.  now's he in hut, he's in hut, oh yeah, (2x) too selfish for love; i do not hate them at all... but they make me mad as they're free and i'm not
No Chairman
------------------------
same faces breaking through the silence with words so useless it makes me yawn, the water's all gone, 3 cups worth to disassociate myself from them.  it's just a tool, not within parliamentary rules, so what if i didn't ask permission?  there's no chairman, there's no chairman, there's no chairman just the flock a'grazing.  consuming what is left of humanity, therein pushing others out, i miss your integrity.  shallow voices inhabit this city and reverberate echoes of social insignificance.  no, you don't know how to shut your mouth, wipe your face, or yield to the urge of listening.
On Your Way Out
--------------------------
on your way out, it's way out.  you won't see me waiting for you, trying to be complacent.  you make me crazy, the way you storm about, woah, but i like the comfort though you're on your way out from me.  on your way out, it's way out, you won't see me hiding from you, cuz i won't be, you won't see me.  now, i didn't mean to.... i didn't mean to..... but i'm a lie..... i'm on my way out of my way, and you can be obliged to thank me for the free place to stay.
There's No Other One
-------------------------------
in hindsight, i thought i didn't know you, but you were good out of habit, i know and that's all.  innocent, they think they were.  innocent from where we were.  the shower of fire coming your way..... when there's no other one, there's no other one, there's no other one, there's no other one.  in hindsight, i thought i didn't need you, but you were smooth out of habit, i know and that's all.
Simon the Martian (a cartoon)
---------------------------
be more efficient, more efficient, more efficient, cut back monetarily, more efficient, more efficient, more efficient, they don't need me.  i guess he or she is riding around comfortably in an air-conditioned car while i contemplate food stamps.  yeah i dispute things; i don't role-play verbatim, i'm not like them -- i like flavor in food and personality.  i'm simon-something-nothing-now..... i'm simon-something-nothing-now..... not now!
