Fyodorov's Bay

Fyudorov's bay - one of the most beautiful bays of peninsula Murav'yova - Amur. This peninsula is included in one of - areas of city of Vladivostok. The bay is located directly in city and it is a favorite place for resting of Vladivostok's inhabitants. The width of a coast makes 4-5 meters, Length - 500 meters. A beach sandy, in separate places stony. In south part of the bay a bottom stony with sandy glades. Approximately in the middle of the bay a bottom sandy, the northern part of a bay again stony (large stones). The bay represents an ideal place for rest as from northern and southern sides it is closed from waves by stone shaft. Because of huge number having a rest in summertime the bay intensively becomes soiled. Now at coast conducts construction of private houses. Naturally because of it the ecological picture in this area has strongly worsened. The building dust rolls directly at coast, in air it is a lot of dust, sewer waste products are thrown out in the sea. . Bottom of a bay strew with metal dust - Anchor, part of courts and boats, automobile motors and much another. Some year's back bay was much purer. There were such kinds of sea fauna as Primorskiy scallop (patinipecten yessoensis) Japanese scallop (chlamys farerri nipponensis), swiftopecten swifti, and trepang. Now these kinds live here in very small quantities. There are many black sea hedgehogs: a beautiful spherical sea hedgehog strongylocentrotus pulchellus in the bay. Several kinds of two-folding mollusks: crenomytilus grayanus, a mussel brilliant (mitilus coruscus), an oyster huge (crassotrea gigas). Scallop starfish and the Amur starfish. In general hedgehogs, mussels and starfishes very much frequently meet in Peter's the Great bay, as they are not objects of poaching. On Fyodorov's bay the saving service is engaged in poaching. During its work we did not see that they have rescued somebody. But we frequently observed as they catch scallops and a trepangs (cocumber fish), using special equipment. In disappearance of such kinds as scallop and a trepang, poachers are guilty first of all; pollution of seawater while stands on the second place. If pollution of a bay proceeds the same rates, in some years there will be no sea animals here. It is interesting, that in local press each summer appears the information of type: " in water it is found out choleras, bathing is strictly forbidden ", but we think that it is something like an advertising gimmick - people involve it on other beach, "shamora" we shall tell about it too. The amount bathing does not decrease; it is possible they do not think about ecology.
