Description: Phrased, 4 wall, beginner line dance
Music: Cha-Cha Slide Part II (Radio Edit) by Casper
Follow the lyrics as called (see call sheet). Here are some sample patterns for some of the calls (not listed in the order called) .
CHA-CHA
1 Rock forward on Right
2 Recover on Left
3&4 Shuffle back Right, Left, Right
5 Rock back on Left
6 Recover on Right
7&8 Shuffle forward Left, Right Left
NOTE: After the Cha-Cha, whether called or not do A right turning rolling
vine progressing forward ending with touching Left next to Right.
You will be facing the next 1/4 wall left.
Alternative:
While making a 1/4 turn left, step right foot to side and then vine
right ending with left touch
CRISS CROSS
Jump both feet out, cross right over left, jump feet out, jump together
CHARLIE BROWN
1-4 Sweep Right slowly in front of Left and hook over left shin
5-8 Rock forward on Right, recover on Left, rock forward on Right,
recover on Left
HOP
Hop forward on both feet..do heel bounces to complete 4 counts.
HANDS ON KNEES
Put hands on knees and while bring knees together and apart, switch
hands to opposite knees or do paddle turns with hands on knees
NOTE: Continue doing this or variations until the cha, cha is called.
SLIDES (left or right as called)
Take a big step to the side and slowly slide the other foot together
at a touch
MOVE LEFT or TO THE LEFT
Left vine
TURN IT OUT or TO THE RIGHT or GO TO WORK(always after the CHA, CHA)
A right turning rolling vine progressing forward ending with touching
Left next to Right. You will be facing the next 1/4 wall left.
Alternative:
While making a 1/4 turn left, step right foot to side and then vine
right ending with left touch
TAKE IT BACK or BACK IT UP or TO THE BACK
Walk back for 4 counts or do mashed potato steps or rolling grapevine
back
REVERSE
Hop around ½ turn or cross either left or right and unwind ½
turn
GO DOWN LOW and BRING IT TO THE TOP
Twist down as far as possible. Twist up and reach up
