Early in 2001, I had an idea to open a business to cater more towards the import crowd.  This would be a first here in the Yukon, as most customized vehicles are of the domestic variety.

After months and months of deliberation (and prodding from my persistent and beautiful wife), I finally got my ass in gear and went down to get my license in November of 2002.

I was driven by the memories of trying to locate parts to customize my CRX back in 1994.  Nobody in town knew anything about the trends exploding down in California or Florida so I was forced to read any magazines specializing in this area hoping to locate a shop somewhat nearby to order from.

A few minor parts (shift knob, e-brake handle, pedals) were acquired in this manner, but usually to the exorbitant costs of shipping.  Then I got lucky, and found a shop in Calgary that gave me a better price on a spoiler than Wings West direct.  The kicker was that my new contact worked with my father here in town back when I was just young.  So, my first dealer account was set up and I was on my way.

The point of the story is that I went through hell to find parts close to me, and then paid a lot of money to get them here.  My goal was to help bring products to this burgeoning market with ease of mind to the consumer.  If I could help someone personalize their vehicle and save them some heartache, I'm happy.

Currently, I have some customers who have appreciated my services, and I hope to help them more in the future as their desires (and finances) allow.

With dealer accounts set up with 3 tuner shops in Calgary and the quick delivery services of Air North (local airline), I believe that I can provide a useful service.
